The Louvre is a shining example of the enduring culture of the French, and a testament to their exceptional dedication to the love of art and beauty.
The Louvre is located on the Right Bank of the Seine River. It is a central landmark in a city that is full of a history and amazing landmarks.
The Louvre occupies a massive 652,300 + spare feet. It houses nearly
35,000 pieces of art.
We did not go into the Louvre this day, but we do take two additional visits. Check back to this blog, as I will post pictures taken from the inside of the Louvre.
This posting is dedicated to trying to wrap my head around at how massive and imposing this structure is.
